The Daniel Faulkner Educational Grant Fund
The Daniel Faulkner Educational Grant Fund was established in May of 2000 to honor the memory of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, who was murdered in the line of duty on December 9, 1981 by Wesley Cook, a.k.a. Mumia Abu-Jamal. The fund provides financial assistance to students whose parents have been murdered or incapacitated by a violent crime.
